The dual purpose of the Ministry is to teach the Church in the
nations through God’s Word concerning Israel, and to reach out
to the Jewish people with Christian love through various
outreach projects in Israel.
Christian Friends of Israel
(CFI) was established in 1985 when a group of Christian leaders
from England, France and the United States came together in
Israel. Ray and Sharon Sanders were given the challenge of
developing a new ministry. Under their leadership, the ministry
of CFI has been mightily blessed in every area of service and
outreach. |

The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) was
founded in 1980 as a worldwide, non-profit ministry with a
prophetic calling to be a source of comfort to Israel and the Jewish
people. The Bible is clear about the attitude Christians should have
towards the Jews. Genesis 12:3 says we should "bless them." Isaiah 40:1
commands us to "comfort them." Psalm 122:6 says we should "pray for the
peace of Jerusalem." Romans 11:31 tells us to "show them mercy."
Isaiah 40:1-2 states, “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to
Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed,
that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord’s
hand double for all her sins.”
In the fall of every year, ICEJ celebrates The Feast of
Tabernacles by holding a week long seminar. Combined with
outstanding world-wide speakers are oftentimes such outstanding
Political figures as the Prime Minister or Mayor of Jerusalem.
My first experience with Israel was in 1980 on a tour to the Feast
and it has forever changed my life! I highly recommend that
everyone that is able, should celebrate the Feast with ICEJ this fall. |
